SAN PEDRO RIVER RIPARIAN

SAN PEDRO RIVER RIPARIAN - Elkins Photos (Larry Elkins) Fine Art Photography will be hanging a new show at BizzArt Gallery this week. The show consists of five photographs taken at the San Pedro River Riparian. In addition, Elkinsphotos has a new exhibit of work at Bad Ass BBQ located at 20 Brewery Gulch. This this exhibit consists of six images of the Brewery Gulch area. Good art and Great Food.

BIZZART BISBEE AFTER FIVE EVENT

Bizzart Gallery is planning an exciting event this coming Saturday, The featured gallery member is Ann Widman who will be taking pre-orders for her upcoming book.One of our newest affiliate members, Magpie Jewelry, will be our featured affiliate artist. She will be exhibiting a wide range of her available jewelry pieces. The opening will be Saturday November 14th 6pm - 8pm in concert with Bisbee After Five (Second Saturday Art walk).

THE SAN PEDRO RIVER RIPARIAN is noted by the Sierra Club as one of the Last Great Places On Earth. On November 18, 1988, the U.S, Congress established the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area. The San Pedro NCA contains almost 57000 acres and stretches approximately 40 miles along the river's length. On October 27th, Bizzart Gallery will open a new show, 'THE SAN PEDRO RIVER'. GARNET MYERS - A SHORT PROFILE

TUCSON ARTIST GARNET MYERS is one of about two dozen artists presenting work at BizzArt Gallery. Garnet paints in watercolor, oil and acrylic. He is best known for his acrylic and mixed media paintings on sandstone. His paintings feature lizards, pottery, birds, abandoned automobiles and other subjects indicative of the Southwest.

DAY OF THE DEAD SHOW

BE SCARED!! BE VERY SCARED!!! - It's almost Halloween. And that means Brewery Gulch is gearing up for the annual pilgrimage of ghosts, ghouls and goblins. Bizzart Gallery is planning on taking no prisoners, demonic or otherwise. We're hosting a Day of the Dead Show as well as a free interactive HAUNTED GULCH Murder Mystery featuring free prizes for all those who correctly guess the identity of the murderer. Be where it's happening Halloween night. Join the other ghosts and ghoulies for a shocker of a Halloween celebration.

PLEIN ART GARDEN PARTY

On September 12th, as part of the Bisbee After Five Celebration, Bizzart Gallery will present Plein Aire Garden Party, a Summer's Night In Bisbee event featuring exquisite watercolors by Pat Pollock Rhoads and relief carved and acrylic paintings by Sabine Sturgill.The artists' reception will be from 6p.m. - 8p.m. The reception will feature refreshments and a very special raffle. There will also be an open house at Studio 41, the new art studio cooperative on the second floor of the Bizzart building. ANNOUNCING BIZZART GALLERY'S SECOND ANNUAL SIZZLIN' SUMMER FASHION SHOW AND BORDER ANIMAL RESCUE BENEFIT! This year' s show will feature canine fashion models coupled with their human counterparts. OUT OF THE BOX - ARTISTS DOING THE UNEXPECTED

On July 11th, Bizzart Gallery will be opening a new exhibit entitled OUT OF THE BOX. The show will feature gallery members and participating affiliate artists working in alternative mediums, such as a photographer attempting sculpture or a painter working in collage. The artists' reception will be 5pm - 8pm Saturday July 11th, at Bizzart - 41 Brewery Gulch. Refreshments and live musical entertainment will be provided. Be there or be square.

childrens' art show

A childrens' art show will open July 2nd at Bizzart Gallery. The artists' reception will be 4pm - 7pm. This is in conjunction with the Boys & Girls Club of Bisbee.

June is set to be a big month at Bizzart gallery. I have just returned from a ten day photo excursion to Ecuador. I returned with almost 4000 photos. As a result, I am opening a one to two month long exhibit at Bizzart Gallery on the evening of June 13th. The exhibit will be titled 'JOURNEY THROUGH ECUADOR'. The show will consist of about 30 - 35 images I took during the Ecuador trip. Also included will be about a half dozen Ecuador images by Sierra Vista area photographer Linda Guinter. In addition, the show will feature a multi media show compiled by the participants in the Tao of Photography Ecuador Workshop. Running concurrent with the Ecuador show will be an exhibition of encaustic wax paintings by Gypsy Jane. Musical entertainment will be provided by Pat Panther. The artists' reception is Saturday - June 13th - 6-8PM.

Bizzart Gallery celebrated its fifth anniversary last night. The opening of Deb Taylor's Tie Dye show and Julia LaLumondier-Hamel's jewelry exhibit went well as did Bisbee's Second Saturday Bisbee After Five celebration. These shows will run through June 13. As I am leaving for a photo excursion in Ecuador in a few days, my next post will most likely be from ecuatorial South America. Upon my return, I will be working on the exhibit of my photography (Journey Through Ecuador) set to open at Bizzart Gallery on June 14th.
